Billie Eilish: a no conformist singer.

Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’ Connell or easily Billie Eilish, is a generation z’s pop icon. At only age of 19 she has conquered the hearts of many teenagers who love her for her no conformist behavior.She was born in Los Angeles in 2001 into a family of artists. She was homeschooled,she studied music,dance and when she was eleven,she started writing songs. In a first moment she took inspiration by her brother, Finneas O’ Connell, who is a singer and now he is her producer. Her first recorded song was “Ocean Eyes” ,written by her brother.She uploaded the recording onto the music-sharing platform SoundCloud. In a short time this song got ten million of hits. Her tracks represents a multi dimensional experience. In fact she created the “Billie Eilish experience” with spotify to allow her fans to interact with songs.

In her tracks she faces different themes like drugs and body shaming.

The first theme is described in one of her most famous song “Xanny” where she refereed to anxiety medication Xanax. She gave, through this song, a powerful message against drug tooking inspiration by a personal experience. Intact During a party, a group of her friends got drunk, they threw up and felt bad for all the night.

The second theme also is referred to a personal experience.

In her videoclips and in her all days life, she has decided to wear hoodies,beanies,baggy trousers and sweats in wild colourways because in this way anyone can have an opinion about her body. Nevertheless she was judged when were posted some photos that showing her in top and short. After this episode,she made a short film called “Not my responsibility” in which she undressed and she immersed herself in black water to denunce her haters insults.
