What do you know about  Amazon?

This article is the right answer to have an idea.

It is the most popular and used online retailer, manufacturer of electronic book readers, and Web services provider in the world  and the most iconic example of electronic commerce.(e-commerce).

It was founded  in 1994 with the name “Cadabra”, but its “creator” Jeff Bezos later renamed his company to Amazon.com,  after the largest river in South America.

He decided to name the company Amazon also after the Amazon Jungle  because he planned to make the biggest  store in the world and  because he thought it was a place that was “exotic and different”, just as he had envisioned for his Internet enterprise.

He also wanted his company name that started with the letter “A” so it would be at the top of the list in alphabetical order.

It started as an online library and developed with Amazon Prime and Amazon Studios. Amazon Prime is a Service that allows you to receive the products in a shorter time with a paid service. Amazon Studios is a place where Amazon creates Tv Series, Films and Comics that are found in a platform called Amazon Prime Video.

Amazon.com’s business strategy was not well received. Reporters and financial analysts have named the company Amazon.bomb.

But in this article, I don’t want to talk only about the very rich Jeff Bezos and his biggest on line store  but of Amazon downside.

There have been some negative media reports about Amazon, particularly in relation to its treatment of employees and I want readers know about.

Staff is usually compelled to work in terrible conditions- in warehouses where the temperature is more than 100°F (38°C) and where they must walk up about24 km. a day getting the things that people ordered. Moreover this online store is becoming a real threat to ordinary stores that can’t compete with its prices.

What shoud we do?

We should prefer to shop in stores, to have a personalized service and to enjoy the experience that a physical store offers as the ability to see, touch and feel products as well as take items home immediately. So my invitation is :” still choose brick-and-mortar stores over e-commerce”!
