Boiler summer cup, what is it?

Boiler Summer Cup is the unconscionable latest challenge started on social networks.

Who is a boiler? Boiler is the term used to define girls who are plump and for this reason  outside  Western canons of feminine aesthetic (slim and eye-catching).

The idea is to go around, to discos or other popular places for  young people to lure chubby girls. The predators start dancing with the preys, tries to conquer them, kiss them and then make fun of them publicly on the social media.

This is the way to collect points so to overcome others.

Boiler summer cup points:

a girl who weighs 80-90 kg = 1 point

a girl who weighs  90-100 kg = 2 points

a girl who weighs  100-110 kg = 3 points

a girl who weighs 110 kg = 5 points

Despicable videos are becoming more and more popular on Tik-tok  with the comments “I touched a 90 kg boiler!”

Some boys and girls it is just a fun game and clearly they think it is also an innocent pastime but both have no idea of  what is going on behind them

It’s full-fledged considered body-shaming because it’s aim is only teasing chubby girls and denigrating them by calling them “boilers”  as if they did not have an identity, as if they did not have a name and a soul  but  they are defined only for their weight.

Apart from this, however, male boys do not realize what is the enormous effect it can have on girls’ self-esteem.

This challenge, which is spreading very lightly among adolescents and teenagers, is actually a lethal weapon and no one,  adults in the first place, should not allow it to be perceived by any boy as “an innocent joke.

We can say that this challenge is capable to have an impact on victims’ psychology and repercussions in adult life: I’m referring to lowering girl’s morale, self-esteem, dignity and causing damages like eating disorders and suicide.

Many girls and boys are already exposing themselves and taking sides against this horrible challenge in the form of “fashion” but it is essential that  parents talk about it at home about its gravity .
